Local singer-songwriter Aoibhín Redmond of the band “Aoibhín” had her first EP launch on Thursday, 06/10/2016. The duo band was formed over a year ago with her brother Oisín Redmond, and together they have been performing live shows and recording original songs, such as “Distant” and their newest song “Rose”. One of the music videos of their original song “Drifting” is up to win an award in the Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival on Sunday, 09/10/2016. She has also received awards in the past, such as the Pure M award for best newcomer. Starting on Friday, 07/10/2016, she will also be starting her own show on Raidió na Life, a radio station she has preformed on live numerous times in the past.
